In 2004, when The LaFarge Road Marketing's chemical plant closed operations, our founder- James Simmons- saw a need to utilize his 20-year mechanical and chemical background to become a U.S. southeast chemical distribution and fulfillment center for manufactures and distributors. From there, Highway Products & Services, LLC was born.
For 20 years, Highway Products & Services specialized in storing hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals under class 3,4,6,8, and 9, while giving our clients a peace of mind by producing fast-reliable order fulfilment, responsible 3PL storage, and accurate Inventory control.

Chemship LLC. officially emerged in 2025, succeeding Highway Products & Services. While our name has changed, our agility and integrity remains steadfast. We continue to uphold the same ethical principles that have guided our operations- ensuring that our workforce embodies these core values every day.
